First trackday back at Sears. Started gradually picking up the pace in the morning. Each session out I took another second off my times. 1:53, then 1:52, then 1:51. The first session out after lunch, I was feeling great. Hauling all around the track, until I hit turn 8 on about the 5th lap out.
Going into the turn, I lost the rear and started sliding. As I was sliding on my back, I saw the bike stand up and ghost-ride for a bit before slamming down on the right side.
I had to wait until the end of the day to pick up my bike and I had a lot of work to do that night. My quick-turn throttle was ruined, and I broke my right-side air runner. The rest of the damage was more or less superficial.
With the help of my buddy, we got the bike back together by midnight, and ready for the next day at the track.
